*GROUP VOICE LESSONS in a CHOIR SETTING: Winter Program 2016 "YES, YOU CAN SING!"

   Introductory Tuition: $350 (4-month program)

  •              Open to Beginners of Any Age
  •              Program is designed for Church Volunteers and the shy, undiscovered Singer
  •              The repertoire includes Filipino Songs, Sacred and other Christmas Songs
  •              Filipinos are encouraged to join as well as others who are willing to learn Filipino Music
  •              Classes start September 2016 and culminates in a Recital Concert in December

   Details: 

  •              You will learn the BASICS of Choral Singing, and be able to apply what you will learn in the recital repertoire
  •              17 classes + 1 Recital Christmas Concert (September - December)
  •              Classes include Vocal Production, Music Theory, Ear Training, Blending and Harmony, Interpretation and Stage Performance
  •              Solo Performances available for those who will qualify

CAN'T COMMIT TO ALL 17+1 CLASSES?

You can still join but will be subject to the regular price $25 per session, and must enroll to a minimum of 10 lessons. TUITON: $250.00

The first 7 lessons on the first month (September) is crucial to your singing voice. Classes on the first month will focus on vocal production, placement, breath control, ear training, blending and harmony. It is strongly advised that you enroll in all 7 classes in September. Here's what you can do: 

1. Register online, look for the REGISTER tab on this website, and fill it out

2. Choose 10 classes and give this list to the teacher so she can place your name on the list for each daily lesson. You are expected to attend this class. Any absence will be subject to the MAKE-UP POLICY which appears below, under INDIVIDUAL VOICE LESSONS. The teacher must be informed about CANCELLATIONS within 48hrs to be credited to student's  account. 

3. Pay $250 using cash or check. Payment must be made in the beginning of the Semester/Program in order to be enrolled. 

4. You will receive a receipt of payment for your records.

5. VOILA! You are enrolled in this exciting Program for Beginners.

  • A Semester consists of 18 weeks; 16 private lessons and 2 group lessons as the teacher deems necessary
  • Tuition Payment is to be paid every first week of the month for five months in the Fall and Spring Semesters. (Fall Semester: September – January, Spring Semester: February – June)
  • Summer Session Tuition is based on the number of lessons you will receive and is paid in full on the first summer lesson or it can also be divided into two equal payments to be paid on the first week of July and August.
  • Mid-Semester Enrollment Tuition for new students entering mid-semester will be calculated at per lesson rate. A payment schedule will be worked out for you.
  • Lesson Make-up Policy

1. Lessons cancelled within 48 hour notice will be made up. Visiting relatives, birthday activities, sports activities, “forgetting”, etc. DO NOT qualify as reasons for make-up lessons.

2. Extended illness, prolonged travel, and other extenuating circumstances will be considered on an individual basis.

3. Make-up lessons may be given in a master class format at the end of the semester, if the teacher feels it would be beneficial to the student.

4. The teacher is NOT responsible for giving more than TWO make-ups per semester for lessons cancelled by the student. Make-up MUST BE taken during the current semester and WILL NOT be carried over into the next semester.

In order to make this program successful, I, ____________________________________, do hereby consent to perform the following:

1. Attend all classes as stated in my chosen program. I understand that missing classes will lead to its forfeiture and will be given only a maximum of two make-up lessons per semester.

2. Vocalize and practice my songs at least 1 hr a day

3. Avoid citrus fruits, spicy foods, too hot or too cold drinks before and after each lesson

4. Memorize all my songs

5. Participate in the mandatory Recital/Final Performance at the end of each Program/ Semester

6. Avoid screaming, staying up late, unsupported belting to maintain vocal health
